Series 1b Hook

This pattern is identical to the standard Series 1 but is designed for the increasing number of waters who stipulate that barbless hooks must be used. Also ideal for fishing at range in open water as barbless hooks penetrate much easier than barbed versions and are more likely to achieve self-hooking against the lead at long range.

Series 1 Hook

With a long shank and down turned eye this is the ideal hook to use for semi-buoyant or pop-up rigs. Using the Knotless Knot you can create an aggressive angle at the eye which enables the hook to turn in the mouth on ejection and hold in the lower lip. Extremely strong, the Series 1 is also the hook for use in tough snaggy conditions.

Series 5 Hook

The Series 5 is the safe alternative to the bent hook rig and is primarily designed for use with pop-up or neutral buoyancy baits, rather than pure bottom baits. Once the carp approaches the bait and tentatively sucks, the hook itself swivels in the mouth giving almost instant penetration in the bottom lip. Available in three sizes, the smallest Size 8 is the perfect pop-up hook for presenting small baits just off the bottom. The comparatively narrow gape means the hook size needs to be increased in proportion to the diameter of the pop up.

Series 2XS Hook

During field testing FOX Italian consultant Sandro Di Cesare landed the 72lb common pictured using a size 2 Series 2XS. Remember when fishing weedy waters or where snags might be a problem, the heavier gauge wire provides strength to land such quality fish.

Series 6b - Barbless Stiff Rig

Every detail has been geared to create the increasingly popular stiff & hinge rig set-ups. The diameter of the eye has been increased to allow rigid hook-link materials such as flurocarbon, to pass through it twice. Its out turned nature means that when used with pop-ups directly off the lead, the hook sits straight. With extra strong wire, and ultra sharp points these hooks are strong enough to cope with any situation!

Series 2 Hook

The Series 2 range is one of our most popular ranges of hooks as it is probably the most versatile hook pattern you can get. It can be adapted to suit all manner of rigs and is the perfect open water hook being light but strong gauge wire. It is also the perfect choice for drop down rigs. Use 24lb Illusion Stiff nylon to form a loop in the hook link at the eye of the hook. Place a small rig ring inside the loop and attach the hook bait using a bait band.

Series 3 Hook

This is the hook to use for hook and hold situations. It is made of extra strong wire to give totally reliable holding power and virtually eliminates the chance of the hook opening under pressure. This pattern has a straight eye compared to the other FOX hooks. The Series 3 adopts a less aggressive attitude under the hook bait, particularly when using nylon hook links. It is therefore perfectly suited to all confidence rigs.
