TBN 2 and TBN 10 Models TBN 2 and TBN 10 are supplied with a removable stop collar which restricts the break angle to 20°. If the collar is removed, the break angle increases to 90°. Both tools incorporate the Double Positive’ torque adjustment locking system giving extra setting reliability.

TBN 25, 65 and 135 Models TBN 25, TBN 65 and TBN 135 break at an angle of 20° and feature a unique patented single direction mechanism, ensuring long tool life and repeatable accuracy in excess of 100,000 cycles. These models are fitted with the new mechanical torque adjustment locking device.

Breaking mechanism On reaching the pre-set torque value, these tools ‘break’ at a pivot point, indicating to the user that the set torque has been achieved. Choice of drive type All models available with either 1 4” Square Drive (SD) spindle for use with nut sockets or 1 4” Female Hex (FH) to suit screwdriver bits. ‘Track’ or ‘Memory’ mode All models can be used in either ‘track mode’ where the pointer ‘tracks’ the applied torque, or in ‘memory mode’ where the pointer remains at the maximum torque applied.
