Rope operation can be fitted to ladders with the reference letters D and F at extra cost. Rope operated ladders have a special type of swing clutch complete with side operated ropes and pulleys. Rope operation CANNOT be fitted afterwards to push-up extension ladders. Preference for rope operation must be stated when ordering.

Treads fitted at a 250mm rise and pinned with ring shank nails and fitted with check blocks at intervals to prevent side sway. Tie rods fitted at not more than 4 treads apart. Single, Double and Triple Extension ladders are manufactured from finest quality Douglas Fir with Ash rungs housed full section into blind holes and are pinned and glued at 250mm centres. Tie rods fitted at intervals. Ladders are varnish finished and all metal fittings are rust proofed.

External width of ladder 390mm.
